Features
This is the complete list of what Build Agent can do. If something isn't listed here, Build Agent doesn't offer it today; email support@atensorlab.com if you need it.
Knowledge (the Knowledge tab)
- Websites: enter a web address. Build Agent reads the page and, with Follow links on the same site on, follows links on the same site, up to 200 pages per website. It also reads sites built with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Vite and similar) and respects robots.txt.
- Keep websites up to date: each website source can be re-read automatically daily or weekly, so answers follow changes to your site without any manual work.
- Files: PDF, Word (.docx), plain text (.txt), Markdown (.md) and HTML files, up to 20 MB each. Drag and drop.
- Text: paste any text with a title, such as FAQs, policies, price lists or product details.
- Up to 20 knowledge sources per agent on the free plan.
- Each source shows its status (processing, ready or failed). Re-index reads a source again right away; Retry re-runs a failed one. Sources can be deleted.
- Knowledge can be in any language.
Answers
- Answers come only from your knowledge, with numbered citations like [1] and the sources listed under the answer. Website sources link to the page; documents and text show their title.
- When the knowledge doesn't contain the answer, the agent says so instead of guessing.
- Answers appear as they're written, with a typing effect.
- Visitors can rate answers with thumbs up or down.
Agent settings (the Settings tab)
- Name, description and instructions (role, audience, tone, what to do when it doesn't know).
- Instruction templates: Customer support, Tutor, Docs Q&A and Sales assistant.
- Write with AI drafts instructions from the agent's name and description; Improve with AI polishes them.
- Advanced: AI model (Google Gemini by default), temperature, maximum answer length, and how many knowledge excerpts are used per answer (1 to 20).
- Optional tools: Google Search (for questions outside the knowledge) and code execution (for calculations).
- Delete the agent (removes its knowledge sources and files).
Testing (the Chat tab)
Chat with the agent privately before sharing it. These messages count toward your own daily message limit.
Chat design (the Widget tab)
Organized in six steps, each with Tips for this step, good and weak examples, and buttons that fill in examples. A setup checklist shows what's left, and a live preview shows the chat after saving.
- Look & feel: title, subtitle, accent color, light, dark or automatic theme, show or hide sources.
- Welcome & starters: welcome message, up to 6 starter questions, and up to 4 quick-action buttons that open a link (e.g. "Book a demo") or send a preset question.
- Chat button: button text, a greeting bubble above the button, and optional auto-open after 5 to 60 seconds (never on phones).
- Follow-up & people: offer follow-up when the agent can't answer (visitors leave their email), email alerts for new leads (to your account email or another address), Talk to a person, and Slack notifications.
- Privacy & data: save conversations or not, keep them 30, 90, 180 or 365 days, and a privacy policy link.
- Advanced: answer language and chat language, and page-specific settings (a different welcome message, greeting and starter questions on pages such as /pricing).
Sharing (the Share tab)
- Public access on or off.
- Chat bubble: one line of code adds a chat button to every page.
- Inline: an embed code that places the chat inside a page.
- Share link: a full-page chat, with a downloadable QR code.
- Test on your website first with a browser-console snippet or a bookmark button, without changing the site.
- Allowed websites (only these sites can show the chat) and a daily visitor message limit.
- Reset link: creates a new link and turns off the old one.
- For developers:
data-position="left",data-widthanddata-heightoptions,AIAssistant.open()to open the chat from your own button,AIAssistant.identify({ name, email, plan })to personalize answers for signed-in users, andAIAssistant.setContext({ ... })to tell the agent what the visitor is looking at.
Leads and talking to a person
- Follow-up: when the agent can't answer, it offers to take the visitor's email. You're emailed the lead with the question; reply to answer them.
- Talk to a person: a link under the message box (and the agent offers it when someone asks for a human) opens a short form for name, email and message. You're emailed with the conversation so far.
- Slack: new leads and requests for a person can also be posted to a Slack channel through an Incoming Webhook.
Insights (the Insights tab)
- Questions per day, knowledge gaps (questions it couldn't answer), leads, top pages where the chat is opened, and most cited sources.
- Conversations with filters: all, couldn't answer, rated thumbs down, left email. Open a conversation to read it, or delete it permanently.
- An AI summary of the period with suggested next steps, and popular topics.
- Export conversations and leads as CSV.
Account
- Sign in with Google or with any email address and password (email is verified).
- Optional two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password and similar).
- The Account page shows your plan and today's usage; Need more? contacts sales.
