Yes, Build Agent works for websites and visitors in other languages.

• Answers: by default the agent replies in the language the visitor writes in, even when your knowledge is in English or another language. For example Japanese, Spanish, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati and many other languages that Google Gemini supports.
• Your knowledge can be in any language, including a website that isn't in English.
• The chat's own buttons and notices (placeholder, buttons, follow-up form) appear in the visitor's browser language for English, Japanese, Spanish, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and Gujarati; other browser languages see English.
• Owners can fix one language instead: Widget tab → Advanced → Answers (e.g. always in Japanese) and Chat buttons and notices.
• Your own texts (welcome message, starter questions, greeting) appear as you wrote them.
• The Build Agent dashboard where you set up agents is in English.
